If you're plucking along in your reading, you know there are dating disasters aplenty in this month's book. You also know that someone dies on a date with one of our heroines. Context is important here: he dies on her lap, grundies off. It was, shall we say, a climactic ending.
We've all had our share of dating disasters. Though I can't claim to have killed a man (or thankfully anyone), I've navigated plenty of my own romantic catastrophes.
Take the fart incident. Yes, I farted. Magnificently. Unexpectedly. This wasn't your dainty "Oops, I hope he didn't hear that!" moment. The wind escaping my downstairs was strong enough to flutter my underwear like curtains before a storm. He heard it. He couldn’t look me in the eyes. Suffice it to say, we didn't last long after that. But he was boring anyway, and I have reason to believe his mother still bought his underwear. It’s a story for another day.
